+ Otto high denier snap back
+ durable visor – wash it. Swim in it. Just don’t lose it.
Little story about the logo – The combination of the letters “i” and “k” has double meaning – the torso of a kayaker preparing for a paddle stroke is quite apparent. The hidden meaning of the symbol is the connection of two kayaking families – Hilgert and Kostal.
Zdenek Kostal and Lubos Hilgert were pioneers of canoe slalom in the former Czechoslovakia (Lubos on the right / Zdenek on the left). The two became friends and rivals at the time. It was their offsprings Ivan and Marcela – both competitive paddlers and members of the Czechoslovakian national team who started Hiko in 1990.
Just in case people ask when you wear it…
