With a longer hull, the Apex catches waves effortlessly on smaller days, while also allowing you to get into waves earlier and faster on bigger days. The tri-fin setup and tight rails provide excellent bite and drive, while the concaved sides maintain volume and increase hold. The channeled V hull tail creates a natural break line that quickly sheds water for effortless release.

The Apex is the perfect combination of stability, forgiveness, speed, maneuverability, and exhilaration. Its comfortable seating position and deck features add to its functionality and durability.

The Limited Edition Construction is the ultimate expression of Hobson Kayaks design and craftsmanship. Built with a full carbon, resin-infused hull with a foam core and a vacuum-bagged carbon deck, this construction provides unmatched stiffness, responsiveness, and strength. At 20–30% lighter than standard layups, these are the stiffest and lightest boats we have ever produced.

Created in strictly limited numbers, only 10 will be made each year. Each kayak is hand-finished to the highest standard, combining elite performance with maximum exclusivity. Tested in demanding surf, the Limited Edition delivers the precision and reliability expected by world-class paddlers, while offering the individuality and attention to detail that collectors and ambassadors seek.
