Rye Hester is a painter and outdoor enthusiast based in White Salmon, Washington, in the Columbia River Gorge. His work is primarily inspired by his lifelong connection to rivers and the kayaking community, having been raised by kayak instructors in North Carolina and immersed in that culture from a young age.
