Take your skills into Class I–II+ whitewater. Learn how to use thigh straps, carve through eddies, and navigate river hazards with confidence.
Duration: 1 Full Day (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Location: Flexible / TBC — determined right before the course based on current water levels and river conditions. Potential locations include the Chilliwack, Mamquam, Cheakamus, or other nearby river runs.
Prerequisites: Packrafting Level 1 or equivalent moving water experience.
What You’ll Learn:

Precision Boat Control: Utilizing thigh straps for edging, body weight transfers, and active control.

Whitewater Maneuvering: Catching tight eddies, front & back ferries, and S-turns in Class II features.

Hazard Avoidance: Spotting sweepers, strainers, undercut rocks, and wave trains.

Group Safety: Throw-bag deployment, un-pinning basics, and assisted river rescues.
